Mrs. Rice was born on October 16, 1945 in Waco, Texas to Bruce R. and Thelma C. (Bolfing) Bettinger. She married Richard "Dick" Rice and they were married for over 50 wonderful years together until his death on June 25, 2015.
Mrs. Rice loved gardening, sewing and her Nascar racing but her true love was her family; especially her granddaughters. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Kimbra Rice.
Survivors include her son; Larry Rice and his wife, Kim, sister; Patty Guthrie, brothers; Don and Jerry Bettinger and granddaughters; Karley and Kasey Rice.
A graveside service for Nancy will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Waco Memorial Park, Waco, Texas.
