Lois M. Olson, 84, of Clifton, formerly of Waco, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 in Clifton. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, April 23, 2014 at Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home with the Reverend Buck Malone officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Mrs. Olson was born on January 19, 1930 in Clifton, Texas to Tom B. and Rosa M. (Wallace) Turner. She married Lloyd M. Olson on December 20, 1947 and they celebrated over 30 wonderful years together before his death in 1978. Mrs. Olson owned and operated Lois’s Beauty Shop in Woodway for several years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a Lutheran. Mrs. Olson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Virgie Woodward.
Survivors include her daughters; Bonnie Hendrix and her husband, Ricky of Springtown, Texas and Sherry Brown of Waco, grandchildren; John Hendrix and his wife, Stephanie and Melissa Hendrix and a great grandson; Parker Hendrix.
