Gary Glenn Ledbetter

Gary Glenn Ledbetter passed away on July 23, 2022 after a brief illness surrounded by his family and friends. Funeral service will be 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with Reverend Ray Featherston officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the funeral home.

Gary was born on January 15, 1950 to Glenn and Jackie Ledbetter and raised in Speegleville. He graduated from Midway High School in 1968. Gary worked for the Highway Dept., Duncan Truck Sales, Allen-Jensen Mack, and US Truck Parts.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Jackie Ledbetter, niece, Casie Ledbetter Bishop and lifelong friend Jerry Radford. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Pam Ledbetter, sons Chad Ledbetter of Speegleville, Jimmy Ledbetter of Robinson and their mother, Wanda Henderson Ledbetter of Robinson, daughters Nancy Jones of Valley Mills and Jatana Guinzy of Waco, son John Patton of Waller, granddaughters Tori and Tarissa, grandson Heston, great-granddaughter Maylea, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Also survived by brother Barry and wife, Vicki of Schertz, brother Russell and wife, Becky of Scurry, brother Craig and husband Jim of Dallas and lifelong friend Paula Radford.
