She spent many years working for Loxcreen Company. She was a woman of faith who cherished every moment with her family. She was a courageous woman who fought a hard battle throughout her life.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Mellette (Sheila); daughters, Mary M. Boldt (Billy), Cynthia M. Holliman (Donald); grandchildren, Kevin Boldt (Tammy), Michelle Onley, Russell Mellette (Cassie), Travis Holliman (Beth); great grandchildren, Nicole Little (Kyle), Ryan Boldt, Jasmine Cibrian (Zeke), Chance Onley, Cody Frye, Tatum Mellette, Emily Sessions, Chase Sessions, Matthew Holliman; great great grandchildren, Anastasia Mae Cibrian and soon to be born, Adleigh Jade Little; and her devoted friend, Susan Howell.
She was predeceased by her parents; three infant brothers, and her husband, Alva R. Mellette.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on July 29, 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. A visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Interment will follow the service on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Southland Memorial Gardens.
