Henry Satterfield is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Anita Satterfield; his two daughters, Carmen Appleton (Ken) and Mary Ann Knotts (Mitch); four grandchildren, Taylor, Lauren, Jaylen, and Pamela; one sister and three brothers, Jan Jones (Callie), Eddie Satterfield (Janice), Tony Satterfield (Melinda), and Joey Satterfield (Julie); six great nieces and nephews that adored their “Uncle Moose”, Hannah, Andrew, Chloe, Lydia, Zachery, and Ely as well as many friends that loved him dearly.
He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, James Henry.
Henry owned Satterfield’s Machine Shop and worked as a Master Machinist. Henry loved his work and his customers and gave them 100% effort every day. If it took air and fuel and made fire, Henry could fix it.
The family wishes for the services to be open to friends and casual attire is welcomed (please wear facial coverings).
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170 with burial to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel.
