Ronnie "Ron" Gene Clower passed away peacefully with his family at his side on January 14, 2022 at the age of 78. Born May 26, 1943 in Maud, Oklahoma, Ron moved to Visalia, California with his family at a very early age. He attended Veva Blunt Elementary and graduated from Mt Whitney High School in 1961. After High School he enlisted in the Navy and served as a radar man on the U.S. James C. Owens.
In 1974 Ron marred the love of his life, Theresa, and together they would have celebrated their 48"" anniversary on January 18". Until retirement, he worked for Southern California Edison as a material handler in the warehouse. Ron was a hard worker, who, even as a young boy would pick cotton in the fields with his parents and brother. He was a happy, quiet, man who loved a good joke and the simple things in life. He loved camping in his 5" wheel with family and friends at Wishon in the High Sierras and leaves a legacy and love for camping to his family. He enjoyed golfing and loved football.
Ron was a loving husband and devoted father, grandfather and brother. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife Theresa, daughters Lisa Lowder, Amy Canto and husband Edvin, Beth Christenson and husband Tony, grandchildren, Trevor Canto, Nathan Lowder, Ben, Erin, Kate Christenson, brother Bill Clower, nephews, nieces and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Iona Clower
