Ronald Raymond Kessler was born in 1941 in Monterey Park, CA to Francis and Alice Kessler. He passed away at the age of 77 in Visalia, CA on April 20, 2018. Ron graduated from Whittier High School in 1959. He had many different careers over his lifetime. Ron worked at North American Rockwell on the Apollo Space program. He became a respiratory therapist, working in Southern California, Reedley, Hanford, Visalia and Delano hospitals. Later he owned and operated Morning Star Print Shop in Tulare with his partner, Forest Williams. In the last years before retirement he became a childcare provider at juvenile group homes in Visalia. Ron loved to garden and sharing his vegetables with the community. He also loved to work with wood, creating wooden benches. Ron loved his children and grandchildren, his church Calvary Visalia and he loved the Lord with all his heart.
Ron leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Judy of nearly 38 years; four children, Renee Steen, Kirk Kessler (Valerie), Eric Kessler (Lori) and Greg Kessler; six grandchildren, Josiah Kessler (Kasey), Josh Kessler (Amy), Sarah Steen, Madison Kessler, Rachel Kessler and Harrison Kessler; one sister, Yvonne Duffy, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
