Ken was adopted at birth by Myrna and Tom Stout and grew up in Hanford, CA. Ken graduated from Hanford High School in 1984 and attended College of the Sequoias where he received his Associates degree in Criminology.
Ken’s career began in 1984 where he worked for his family’s heating and air conditioning business as a sheet metal fabricator and foreman for 37 years.
Ken met Nancy Franey in 1993 and they were married for over 30 years.
Ken’s love for the great outdoors was expressed in his countless fly fishing and hunting adventures. He was known as “MacGyver” and a “Jack-of-All-Trades.” His passion for BBQ mastery was enjoyed by friends and family for decades. Ken had an off the wall sense of humor and never met a stranger. His greatest joy was being a father to his daughter Shelby. He was extremely proud of Shelby’s undying faith and dedication to serving others. While Ken grew up in church, he truly surrendered his life to the Lord while going through his cancer journey.
He is survived by wife Nancy Stout, daughter Shelby Turner and husband Joshua, mother Myrna Weatherly, brother Stephen Stout and wife Karen, sister Karen Martin, Julia and Vasily Shantalov, Dani and Alejandro Borgia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kenneth leaves behind numerous family members and friends who will cherish his memory. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared here for the Stout family.
A celebration of life for Ken will be held on Thursday, July 25 2024, at Grace Bible Church located at 1305 West Main Street, Visalia, CA 93291 at 9:30 a.m.
