Consuelo Alvarez

Consuelo married Raul (Ruben) Alvarez in Reno, Nevada in August 1949. They had four children. Consuelo was a very caring person for anyone who needed her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with grandchildren. Consuelo was the foundation to our family, the caregiver to the sick, consider by all to be the Monarch to the entire family.

Consuelo will be dearly missed by her children Lillian (Christopher P.) Chavez, Gerald Alvarez, Samuel Alvarez and Laura Alvarez-Olvera; eight grandchildren, Laurie Alvarez, Christopher Chavez, Jerry Alvarez, Lisa Alvarez, Michael Olvera, Alex Alvarez, Jaclyn Olvera and Nathan Alvarez; 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; her siblings, Jenny Aguilar, Lucy Aguilar, Cruz Castillo, Hope Palomo and Steve Castillo.

Consuelo is preceded in death by her husband Raul (Ruben) Alvarez; her parents, Eteban and Seberiana Castillo; her siblings, Lupe, Jesse, John and Phillip Castillo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Miller Memorial Chapel from 3-5:45pm followed by Rosary at St. Frances Cabrini of Woodlake at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Frances Cabrini at 9am followed by interment in Woodlake Public Cemetery.
