Carol Rae McPhaill

Our beloved wife, mom, nana and great nana, Carol Rae McPhaill passed away in Visalia CA surrounded by her family on December 11, 2024 at the age of 77. She was born on May 20, 1947 to William Adams and Emma Stengle Adams in Peoria, IL.

She met the love of her life, James K. McPhaill while attending ABI Bible College in 1967 and they were married on February 7, 1970. They traveled and evangelized across the states until God called them to Pastor at the Pentecostal Lighthouse in Visalia, CA in September 1980. They pastored there until retiring as Bishop after 42 years.

Carol Rae McPhaill is known for her infectious personality, humor and kind heart. She is loved by everyone she meets. She lived for her family and would do anything for them. She loved shopping, travelling and getting her Caramel frappe or ‘pink drink’ from Starbucks. Her greatest joys in life were

her husband, children & all her grandchildren who now have many amazing memories with her. There was never a dull moment or a room without laughter with her around. Carol Rae McPhaill lived a full, happy and Christ-like life with no regrets to be had.

Carol Rae McPhaill is loved and tremendously missed by her husband of 54 years, James K. McPhaill, her son, Kevin J. Mcphaill (spouse, Cynthia Mcphaill), daughter, Keri A. Rodriguez (Spouse, Manuel Rodriguez), grandchildren, Kayla B. Rodriguez, Jakob D. Rodriguez and Grace McPhaill. She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Everly Mae Settlemyer, her sister Marilyn Plunk (spouse Jim Plunk), and her brother Jim Adams. Also survived by her brother, Richard Adams (spouse Alice Adams, and her brother Harold Adams (spouse, Mary Adams).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church 1219 West Noble Avenue, Visalia, California on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 6:00 pm.
