Terrence Fahey, NCCM (AW) USN, Ret. was born February 19, 1940 in Syracuse, NY to William J. Fahey, Sr. and Margaret (nee Keefe) Fahey. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, William J., Jr.; his sister, Judith Ann; and his brother, Michael, who died in infancy. Terry graduated from Blodgett Vocational High School and after retirement in 1990, he graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration from The University of New York at Albany.
He joined the US Navy shortly after graduation serving 30 years active duty. He met the love of his life, Effie Louise Rideout, while stationed in Argentia, Newfoundland. They were married in January 1966. From the marriage were born Kathleen M. and Michael T. Fahey.
Terry passed away on May 28, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Louise; his daughter, Kathleen M. Thaler; his son, Michael T. (Sonia); and his grandsons, Brennen Thaler (Katrina) and Aaron Fahey.
The graveside service will be Friday, June 7, 2024 at 2pm in the Chapel Mausoleum at Rosewood Memorial Park. Condolences may be made at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
