Henry "Hank" G. Kramer

Henry (Hank) G. Kramer, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his four daughters on September 14, 2023.

Mr. Kramer is a US Navy Veteran and retired Sergeant in the Norfolk Police Department K-9 Unit and Loss Prevention Supervisor with Food Lion until his retirement. He was a loving husband to his wife of 59 years and an incredible father to his children and grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a true friend to anyone who knew and worked with him.

Mr. Kramer was born in Chicago and was preceded in death by his parents, father Henry Kramer and mother Eleanor Walsh, his wife Joyce Ann Kramer, a son Jerry William Kramer, two sisters Loretta Kramer Fahl and June Ann Konze, one brother Richard Alan Kramer.

Survivors include four daughters Sherry Rodriguez, Terry Matalon (Alan), Mary Ward (Paul), and Kerry Kramer; a sister Ida Marie Rzepecki; a daughter-in-law Cindy Kramer; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday September, 21st at 10:00am at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 N. Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk Police Foundation.
