On 10/9/2022, Dolores R. Thompson ascended to heaven, into the arms of Jesus.
At 89, tired and weak, fed up with society’s overwhelming negativity, and anxiously awaiting her reward in heaven, she was a “Good and faithful servant”. Her religious fervor and born-again Christian faith were clearly evidenced in her devotion to God, biblical scripture, and the wedding vow. The Bible was her driving force and taught her how to “forgive”. To say that she’s now in a much better place is an understatement. She will be missed by many.
A widow since 1/31/2017, Dolores is survived by three sons (Matthew, Mark, and Clifford), a daughter (Kimberly), two younger sisters (Sydney Ann and Phyrne), and her dog (Precious, a Shih-Tzu). She was born in Cleveland, OH but passed away in Virginia Beach, VA.
