Look at the joy she spread everywhere she went!

Kim was the smartest! She was an expert in her field and  has healed and saved many lives. I am so blessed to have had the honor to be her niece.

My prayer is that Everyone gets to experience an auntie like her!!! The body dies but the soul lives for eternity. She will forever be missed. Her smile shines bright❤️Forever❤️

Kim's stepson, Ebone East, was their at her home to see his stepmother in her last moments. Kim was an inspiration to her son. she and Ebone would sit and talk for hours every time he would visit her. She has been in his life for 44 years and taught him to strive to be a better person and to never give up.  Having you in my life has taught me how to defy the odds and stay strong in accomplishing my goals. She will be forever missed. I love you, mom, for the time God has blessed us with.  Love your son. And in Christ Jesus, EBONE LEROY EAST.

We have lost one of the anchors of our family.  First was our courageous, smart, and beautiful Grandmother’s transition, then our wise, strong, and larger than life Grandfather, and now our Auntie/Sister/ and Friend has transitioned from this world to be in Heaven with others who we have been blessed to share some time with!  I could not begin to describe how much Auntie Kim means to me.  Her beautiful smile and positive spirit and energy, her honesty and her commitment to mine and her Sons and other Nephew's and Niece’s understanding of the value in being not just a hard worker, but a smart one too.  We are so far from perfection; yet, if God’s will be done—may he help bring us some closure from this most devastating of losses and that God may continue to bless our family in all we do!

Words can’t express my love and admiration for my Auntie Kim. We always talked about her nursing career and awards that she hung on the wall. Her home was always a safe haven. She always welcomed me with loving and open arms. I’m especially grateful that she took me in, and allowed me to live with her in 8th grade, when my Mom was unable to care for me. I always admired how she was raising my cousins, all boys, on her own. She handled her business and I will always love and respect her for that. You embody strength, grace, wisdom, and grit!
