Velma Ruth Taylor Terry, 82 ,of Victoria passed away September 23, 2013. She was born November 6, 1928, in Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas, to the late Orby J. and Cordelia Grace Webster Taylor Boss . Velma retired from the IRS after fifteen years of service in the accounting department.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Emmett Eugene Terry of Victoria; daughters Dorothy Terry Tyler of Victoria and Joanne Terry and her partner Mark Jewell of Austin; grandchildren Erin Reininger and husband Eric, Meredith Martinez and husband Michael, great- grandchildren Peyton Elizabeth Quimby, Sydney Anne and Liam Russell Reininger.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 25, 2013, from 7 to 8 PM at the Rosewood Funeral Chapels. Graveside services will follow September 26, 2013, at 2 PM at the Harmony Ridge Cemetery in San Saba, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
