Robert Eugene Friedrichs

Robert married the love of his life, Betty Peters, on February 7, 1959. He worked for Bauer Dredging in Pont Comfort and then joined DuPont for 37 years as a welder and mechanic. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and dancing.

He is survived by wife, Betty, children Robert Friedrichs Jr. and wife Ruth, Cynthia Montgomery and husband Robert, Dale Friedrichs and wife D’Ette and by grandchildren Marc Medina, Maison Friedrichs and wife Meghan, Austin, Travis and Madison Montgomery, Hunter and Keagan Friedrichs.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, as well as brothers Louis, Joseph, Gerald, Eldon and James Friedrichs and sisters Clara Geistman and Ann Ventrcek.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Rosewood Funeral Chapel in Victoria. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Sunday, November 29, 2015, at the Six Mile Assembly of God Church in Port Lavaca, Rev. Johnny Kisiah officiating. Burial will follow at Six Mile Cemetary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Six Mile Assembly of God Church at 6440 FM 1090N, Port Lavaca, Texas 77979.
