Rita was born January 4, 1957 in Refugio, Texas to Ann Biederman Wolfshohl and Vernon Wolfshohl, Sr. She met the love of her life at her sister’s (Jan) wedding. She was the maid of honor and he was the best man. They were married August 2, 1975 and had two children. She worked at ATISD for 35 years as a bookkeeper for the school district. She was an avid bike rider and loved exercising and sewing. She handmade hundreds of stylish cloth bags. She was a fun, loving, kind and very giving woman. She was an outstanding person and was always smiling. She blessed so many people with her presence. Just being around her made you feel good. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She will truly be missed by everyone.
Rita is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Bruce Wise; daughter, Stacey D. Wise; son and daughter-in-law, James B. Wise (Emily); mother, Ann Biederman Wolfshohl; sister and brother-in-law, Jan Wise (Dennis); brothers, Bill Wolfshohl, Blaine Wolfshohl (Sherry) and Douglas Wolfshohl (Susie); and grandchildren, Nick Johnson, Aeris Wise and Zachary Wise.
Rita was preceded in death by father, Vernon Wolfshohl, Sr.; sisters, Diane Hernandez, Mary Eastwood and Sue Wolfshohl; and brother, Vernon Wolfshohl, Jr.
