Miriam Anderson gained her angel wings on June 19, 2022 in Victoria, TX. Miriam’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were touched by her, understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. She was a paramedic and seamstress, an avid quilter and an amazing grandmother. When Miriam wasn’t sewing, she could be found supporting her grandchildren in all that they did. Not a day went by where Miriam didn’t talk about how much her family meant to her.
Miriam is survived by her mother, Theresa B. Anderson; her daughter, Jessica Anderson Rogers (Brandon); grandchildren, Matthew, Blake and Taylor; siblings, Mark Anderson (Lisa) and Marcia Neely; as well as her niece and nephews, Carol Knebel (BJ), Sean Neely (Joede) and Joshua Neely.
Miriam was preceded in death by her father, Norbert Daniel (Andy) Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 5-7pm at Colonial Funeral Home, with rosary beginning at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10am at Colonial Funeral Home, with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Allen Cook, Matthew Rogers, Blake Rogers, BJ Knebel, Joshua Neely and Sean Neely.
