Michael Goode

Michael served in the U.S. Army and was retired from the U.S.P.S. as a mail handler. He was a member of St. Peters Baptist Church, he was an avid hunter, loved to bar-b-que, and adored being around his grandkids.

He is survived by his daughter, Margo Goode; former wife, Thelma Prince Goode; step-son, LeShawn Prince Sr.; sister, Rhonda Harrison; brother, Jeffrey Goode; grandchildren, Amaria Goode, Journee King, Malik Prince, Aurbonie Prince, LeShawn Prince Jr., and Avery DeBord; and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dennis Goode and Curtis Goode Jr.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 11am-1pm at St. Peter’s Baptist Church in Victoria followed by funeral services at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Good Hope Community Cemetery in Hallettsville.

Pallbearers are Reggie Shaw, John Prince, Don Stafford, Billy Spencer, James Goode, and Bruce T. Harrison. Honorary pallbearers are P.A.M. staff.
