Micaela C. Chavez Castillo

Micaela C. Castillo, 88, of Victoria passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Micaela was born on February 26, 1923 in Concrete, Tx to the late Antonio Chavez and Concepcion Nunez Chavez.

She was a Homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Survivors: Daughters; Maria Dolores Reyna, ( Joe F. ), of Pasadena, Gloria Morales( RichardFranka) of Victoria, Beatrice Perez (Albert ), of Pasadena, Andrea Blackwell, Of Louisiana, Mary Jane Corpus ( Arturo), of Pasadena, Alice Tamez, of Bastrop, Frances Martinez ( Rudy ), of Houston, Esther Gomez (Richard) of Victoria: Nora Guerrero( Sotero Dominguez ), of Austin, Sons; Teodoro Castillo, Jr ( Ester R ), of La Porte, Jesse Castillo, Sr. (Norma Morales ), of Victoria, Frank Castillo, of Worchester, Mass, Tony Castillo, Sr. (Eva), of Dallas, Jesse Patrick Castillo, Sr. ( Cynthia ), of Victoria, Freddie Castillo, Sr. (Haley Brooke ), of Victoria. She is also survived by 60 grandchildren and 61 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Preceded in Death by her Parents, Husband, Teodoro V. Castillo, Sr, Sisters; Mary Mendez Amaro, Constancia Galvan, Rosa DeLaRosa, Josephina Martinez. Brothers; Ramon Galvan and Antonio Chavez

A Rosary will be Recited on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, 7 pm at Colonial Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 , 2 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
