Our loving wife and mother Mary Ann Treadaway Arnold gained her entrance to Heaven on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was born November 21, 1940 in Victoria TX to Frazier and Mary Edith Jordan Treadaway.
Ann was the co-owner of Arnold’s TV Inc., served as the Vice-president, and she and her twin sister managed Victoria’s first movie rental store. Ann was a lifelong Catholic and enjoyed cooking, traveling, gambling, dancing, and her cats.
Working was a big part of Ann’s life, but being a wife and mother was her biggest accomplishment.
She married Victor H. Arnold (May 1969) and they were blessed with six children;
Vicki Pyatt (Ned); Kevin M. Arnold (Tammy), Michael Arnold (Sarah), David Arnold (Erin), Robert Arnold (Nancy) and Dan Arnold; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and special nieces Amy Lara, Mary Sullivan, Kellye Sullivan and Sallie Ann Sullivan.
Ann was preceded in death by her sisters, Edith Nan Sullivan and Arlette “Sally” Easley and brothers, Frazier Treadaway, Jr. and Joseph Treadaway and son, Kevin Arnold.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 4th from 5-7 pm at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited Thursday, October 5th at 9:30 am at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial will immediately follow at Catholic Cemetery #3.
Honoring Mrs. Arnold as pallbearers will be Ethan Lara, Jarrod Sullivan, Trevor Arnold, Travis Arnold, Chaz Logan and Kennon Logan.
The Arnold Family would like to acknowledge Lorraine Randle and the Morada Memory Care staff for their love and care of Ann. Their compassionate hearts enabled Ann to live in comfort these last several years of her long journey with dementia. They will certainly have a special place in heaven, and the Arnold family will be forever grateful for their loyal and dedicated services.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family kindly requests that donations in Ann’s memory be made to Our Lady of Victory School, Nazareth Academy or Adopt-a-Pet.
