So sorry to hear of Louis’s passing. I so fondly remember him as a good high school friend and a great Gobbler teammate. One of the nicest guys I have ever known. So tough and such an all-round great athlete.  I remember in the 8th grade he actually won a little trophy for All-Around Athlete as he excelled in every sport. I also remember him showing up for 2-a-days in football after hours on a farm tractor, then going back to the tractor when practice was over while all went home and crashed. I am sure he was a great father and husband too. His family is very proud of him and he will be greatly missed.

Luis was always a good guy, great school mate.
I remember him having a wicked fastball, never like batting against him.

I’m so sorry to hear of Louis Wayne’s passing. I have thought about him so much through the years. I loved carrying him around like he was my baby when he was little. I have wondered about so many of the family. You probably don’t remember me, but I lived with Aunt Molly and Uncle Ed May. We used to visit with the Montgomery s in Smiley and Pilgrim. And they were often at our house. Spent a lot of time with Joyce and Curtis. Just wanted to offer my condolences and know I remember so much of the family. Just lost track. Love Joyce Ziese
