Joyce M. Darling

Joyce Marie Allison Darling, 90, died on June 22, 2024 in Victoria, Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Shelia Darling Wallace and her husband R. Brown Wallace, of Norman, Oklahoma, and grandson, Joshua D. Tims, his wife, Jessica Tims, and their children, Scotty Tims, Kira Tims and Riker Tims, all of Norman, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Darling was born January 9, 1934, in Yoakum, Texas, the daughter of William Elmer Allison and Inetha Allison. She went to school and graduated and worked at TexTan, all in Yoakum, Texas. She married Clyde Samuel Darling in 1955. They had two children, one of whom was Craig Scott Darling, who predeceased her in 1990. Her husband, Clyde Darling, predeceased her in 1998.

Her grandson, Heath Jamieson Tims, predeceased her in 2019.

A Memorial Service is to be conducted at eleven forty-five in the morning on Sunday, the 30th of June, at First Christian Church.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor. She will be missed by everyone.
