James Kenneth Whitlock

James Kenneth Whitlock, 79, of Victoria passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. He was born April 12, 1934, in Olcott, West Virginia, to the late Kenneth William and Marie Burris Whitlock. James served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from AT&T after working as an electrical specialist.

Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn Whitlock Bradshaw of Victoria; brother, David Whitlock of South Charleston, West Virginia; granddaughter, Julia Freude Welder of Corpus Christi; great-granddaughter, Kathryn Hickman of Corpus Christi.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, James Kenneth Whitlock, II.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, January 10, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Chapels, Rev. Mark Longoria officiating. Burial will follow in Six Mile Cemetery.
