Jack Eugene Nettles, 82 of Victoria passed away July 15, 2012. He was born in Mexia, Texas on September 16, 1929 to the late Travis C. and Eloise Rasco Nettles. Jack graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Journalism and was employed by Alcoa for 30 years. He retired as General Manager of Public Relations in Pittsburgh, PA. He was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Ponder Nettles of Victoria; daughter Leslie Nettles Prodoehl and husband Philip of Houston; son Jack Ryan Nettles and wife Joyce Williams of Warrenton, Virginia; grandsons Christopher and Andrew Prodoehl.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Joy Moore.
Memorial services for Jack will be held Saturday July 21, 2012 at 10 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Burr Dobbins officiating.
Entombment will follow at a later date.
