Dear Paula and Wanda, your precious Mom had a special way of being bubbly, just effervescent about life. Thinking about her, I hardly can envision her without her characteristic big smile, her big happy eyes, and her exuberant, abundant personality.  She and your dad—my mentor—were a study in contrasts ... but they were a great match for each other.  And oh, my goodness gracious, could your Mom rock an electronic organ! I vividly remember her demonstrating the Baldwin organs for customers at the piano company the eight years I worked there. No one could do that but her!

Our faith keeps us going in such trials. I happily look forward to the Grand Reunion that we will all have one day in the presence of our precious Jesus, when, as we are promised, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” (Rev. 21:4)

Dear Grandma,
I have so many wonderful memories from your amazing life.  I feel so blessed to be one of your many grandchildren.  Who can forget large family gatherings where you had a conversation going with almost everyone in the room - ALL at the same time!  I will miss your laugh.  I will miss your smile.  
Every night when I watch Wheel of Fortune, a show we both love, I will hear you tell me "you look like Vanna White."  I remember years ago studying my hands and realizing that I have your hands, so I will see a part of you everyday.  I will forever think of you when I eat apple pie and cherish all the pies that you made for me.  And the day that one of my sons get married, I will hear you say "you finally got your girl."  
I will forever cherish the "sleepovers" we had the past few years.  It was a special time alone with just you.  It reminded me of when I was a little girl and shared a bed with my sister.  I would lay there listening to your stories about Grandpa and the wonderful family y'all created.  You would mention every child, grandchild, great grandchild and great-great grandchild.  But the best part was when the talking was over, you would start your prayers to Jesus until you drifted off to sleep.  I miss you and love you so much and look forward to seeing you again one day.

AUNT HAZEL WAS THE LAST OF MY AUNT'S,  AND WILL BE TRULY MISSED. OUT OF SIX GIRLS,  INCLUDING MY MOTHER,  MARIE, THEY HAVE GONE TO B E WITH THE LORD. BEING ONE OF THE OLDEST NEPHEWS, I KNEW, AND LOVED THEM ALL. GRANDPA AND GRANDMA REYNOLDS HAD A GREAT FAMILY, WITH  MANY MEMORIES THAT ME AND CONNIE AND THE REST OF MY FAMILY WILL REMEMBER FOREVER !!

My Dearest Mother:
You've  crossed the finish line and won the race. Your Heavenly  mansion  is your trophy.  I believe God said... Well done, my good and faithful servant. Moving day is today!
Mother, you were and will always be my example  of a life well lived. I saw your smile and grace lift you above  life's dramas. Your  Christian walk  was much more than talk.  Your inner soul was true to  Him until the end. 
After you lost daddy, your soul-mate and love of your life, we knew you had to move on with what  was ahead.  It took some time but eventually  you  spread your wings like a butterfly and soared toward the light.
Our times together were the best  a mother  and daughter could ever experience. We shared laughs, stories, travels, family, friends, food and  fun.  It never mattered what we were doing , just as long as we were enjoying it  together.  Family and friends were important to you so I made sure you had heaping scoops of both.  My friends were your friends and they loved you dearly. Our times together with them...whether on the phone, eating out,  camp side chats/meals, or birthday celebrations made us happy.
Recently we were on one of our numerous rides through Riverside Park and  you said what needed to be said at the time....
WANDA...OUR MEMORIES ARE NOT FOR SALE...  I have shared that gem of wisdom many times since and it is even more true today than it was then. 
My dear, sweet mother; you have traveled many life roads. Now you are traveling on those Heavenly streets of gold. Until I join you in your travels; know  that I cherished our times together and I knew your deep love for me.

I met Mrs. Hazel when,I was in Beauty School. Her question to me,was can you rinse color my hair dark black or brown. And I ask why. She said because,I want to look young again. I felt in love with then. She was funny, witty n always happy. I always made sure that every Friday at 1:30pm. I was free to do her hair. She always was telling me that when I graduated from school,she was going to follow me, wherever I was going to be. And she did. She just wasn't my client,she was like a grandmother. She was family. She sure was in love with my husband Butch. She always kept saying how handsome he was. He would bring her fried chicken for lunch. Cuz she love fried chicken.I kept my promise. I style her hair for the last time. I cry n talk to her for the last time. My heart is aching. But ,I know she's in a better place. God bless

In the family, always smiling, loving on us all. You and I never had a cross word. No man could have had a better mother in law.

We have so many wonderful memories of my Aunt Hazel.  She was always fun to be around.  We always looked forward to spending time with Aunt Hazel from childhood through our adulthood.  We will miss you Aunt Hazel but know you are walking on the streets of gold with Uncle Jack, my Mom and Dad (Sid and Helen McCoy) and all other family members who have gone before us that we too miss so much.  We love and will miss you, till me meet again.

I love my Grandma Rose very much and will miss her dearly.  I have too many good memories to list but especially remember her for the balance that she brought to Grandpa's sometime, light mannered grumpiness (I love and miss you too Grandpa Rose, I know we were a wild bunch of grandkids to handle).  I always remember Grandma being so proud of me and I know she truly loved all of us even with our faults.  She always saw the good in people and was happy about the smallest of things.  She was always so excited to see pictures and hear stories of my cats I've had all throughout my life.  That was definitely one of our connections.  I used to love watching her play the piano and organ and especially loved her playing "The Entertainer" for me.  She'd always tell me "Johnny, play that one song on the piano I like that you play" and I'd always give it my best.  She was my fan, my family, and my friend.  Like with the passing of all my other grandparents (she was the last), I'll surely long for missed opportunities and more time, but am forever grateful for the times I had.  For without them.....there would be no me.  Thank you for everything Grandma Rose, I love you forever.  -Johnny

Grandma Rose was always smiling.  Memories of her playing the organ or the piano are happy ones.  She would make a cherry pie for my birthday because she knew cherry was my favorite.  When we were young Grandma would "sneak" us iced oatmeal raisin cookies or one of Grandpa's fig newtons from the cookie jar with a smile telling us not to ruin our dinner.  For Christmas she would give my siblings and I roller skates (always in the next size up from the year before).  So many memories of this wonderful Christian woman.  So happy to have her as my Grandma.
