Estela Sanchez Maldonado

Estela worked as a nurse at Citizens Medical Center when the hospital first opened and for many years after, before becoming a private nurse.

Estela is survived by her children Debra (Ben) Carbajal, Veronica (Michael Wilcox) Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Joe Henry (Michelle) Gonzales, Rebecca (George) Nance, Anthony Gonzales, Ramona (Matthew) Rocha; her brother Gilbert Sanchez; twenty grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.

Estela was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ramon Maldonado.

You are cordially invited to a formal visitation Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 5-8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM. The funeral service will be at 11 AM Wednesday inside the Iglesia Presbyterian Church, 401 S. DeLeon, Victoria, TX with Pastor Bette Burris officiating.
