Edna Rose Westerman Lobprise, 98, of Victoria, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was born in Victoria County, Texas on September 21, 1926 to Albert W. and Rose Othelia Neumann Westerman. Edna graduated from Patti Welder High School. Towards the end of WW II, she worked for Bell Telephone Co in Victoria as an operator. In later years she was employed by Dunlamps. She was also a devout member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, Albert W. and Rose Othelia Westerman, Edna is preceded in death by her loving husband; Paul A. Lobprise, and brothers; George Westerman and Leo Westerman.
Edna is survived by her daughter; Linda Lobprise Swickheimer and her husband Dave, son; Glenn Lobprise, grandchildren; Eric Swickheimer and his wife Amy, Regina Swickheimer Frazier and her husband Cory, and Holly Lobprise, great-grandchildren; Bryce Frazier, Sarah Frazier, and Paul Swickheimer. She also leaves behind numerous extended family, all of whom will cherish her memory.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 10 am at Rosewood Funeral Chapel, immediately followed by interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pastor Ildiko Rigney, of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, will officiate.
