Charles Edward Wenske

Charles was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the army. He was a civil maintenance person retired from ALCOA after 25 years and was a softball legend.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Sullins Wenske; sons, Daniel Peter Wenske, Jody M. (Celina) Yoast, Joshua A. (Laurie) Yoast all of Victoria; daughter, Melissa F. (Andrew) Cheatham of Pflugerville; sister, Janel (Charles) Wenske of Ganado; brother, Gene (Irene) Wenske of Yoakum and five grandchildren, Clover, Beatrice, Jack, Miles and Molly Yoast.

The family will receive friends and family at Rosewood Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 from 5-7 PM with a rosary to follow at 7 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Immediately following the funeral mass, the Victoria Veterans Council will conduct full military honors.
