She loved, and was loved by, her husband Alan Rosie, her family Nick, Phyllis, Darrell, Michael (Holly), Mark (Crystal), Jodie (Brandon), Debbie, Koben, Ryder, Persephone, Turin, Dante, Raine, Aurora, Kinley, Logan, her aunts, uncles and cousins, and her many friends.
After growing up in Dawson Creek, Susan attended the University of Victoria, graduating with a BA in psychology in 1981. She returned to Dawson Creek for a few years, working for the Department of Highways, before relocating to Victoria to work in the Saanich District Highways Office in 1986. Susan continued to work for the Province until 2014. Susan travelled to England, the Baltic Sea, Mexico, and Whitehorse.
Susan made many friends in her life and then, in 1996, she met the love of her life, Alan. They married on June 29, 1998 and each was equally and totally loved by the other. They both enjoyed happy times travelling to the Maritimes, and to Parksville, Miracle Beach and other destinations in their trailer.
Susan will be sadly missed, forever loved, and forever remembered.
A service for Susan took place, May 2, 2015at Cadboro Bay United Church, 2625 Arbutus Rd.
