Jessica was born in 1931 in The Netherlands. She and Ted emigrated to Montreal in 1952 where they married. They raised their five children first in Quebec and then Ontario before moving to Vancouver Island in 1982.
Jessica began her work as a yoga teacher in the 1970's and after Ted's death in 1990, she moved to Victoria and devoted herself to the study and teaching of yoga which she pursued well into her 80's.
Jessica was an avid gardener both in her own gardens and as a volunteer at Government House.
Jessica will be remembered with love and gratitude by her family.
