Jeffry Allen Stewart

Jeffry was born September 28, 1954, in Greenville to Lorene Jane (Hayes) Stewart of Greenville and the late Ira William Stewart. In addition to his father, Jeffry was also preceded in death by a brother, Walter Stewart.

Jeffry is survived by his daughters, Shirley (Sammy) Stewart Demsey of Louisville, Mississippi, Kim (Jeff) Stewart Oliphant of Philadelphia, Mississippi, and Monica Stewart Anderson of Greenville; grandchildren, 11; great-grandchildren, 4; brothers, Roger Stewart of Greenville and Otis Stewart of Versailles; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Jeffry was a retired auto body mechanic. Music was Jeffry’s life, he played guitar in two bands, SHOCK and TEEZE. He enjoyed grilling outdoors and was an amazing cook.

A celebration of Jeffry’s life will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at zecharbailey.com for the Stewart family.
