Sending our deepest condolences to Kevin and family ❤️ Whenever I come up to see my parents in Vernon I always ask them can you call Kevin & Christie to come over for a visit. I will always miss hearing about Christie’s stories especially how she talked about her sons and grandchildren…she adored you all! I am truly blessed to have been able to grow up knowing Christie…such a remarkable person even through all the hardships she still had a smile on her face…truly going to miss you!

Kevin, Paul, Dalton, Tessa, Sammy Shorty and Edna…. I have no words that properly express how much you all meant to Christie.  
There was never a conversation without mention of you all and all you did for her.  
She was an amazingly strong woman, but could not have done it without all of you.
We have lost an amazing light from our world and my heart breaks for all that loved her.

My most beautiful friend.  Life will be a much quieter, dimmer, lonelier place without you here with us.  We did not bad the last 40 years but it was never going to be long enough.  I will miss you Forever and a day my friend.

Christie and Kevin’s visits to Mexico and Seattle would teach me so much from any small conversation I would have with them.
Christie would give me a lot of love and she will always be an incredible role model to me.
I will try to be like her every day and also share love and spread warmth every minute of my days with others. I know she was strong also along with the kindness she gave to everyone around her. I hope I can live with the same strength she always had.
She lead by example and I’ll carry every memory with me and treasure the good experiences of getting to know her as a Canadian mom that I like to call her.

I’ll always try my best to live up to the lessons Christie taught me throughout my life. Knowing her was a privilege and I’ll always be thankful for that. Kevin, Dalton, Paul you’ll always have a home in Seattle and I hope one day I can visit Canada like I wish I could have to see where Christie lived. I send everyone a big hug through this thought time we are all having. Know that I send you one of those big, caring, loving amazing hugs Christie would give. I’ll miss her so much and always.
