Barry was born in Neilburg, Saskatchewan on April 26th, 1939. He joined the army at 16 years old and while stationed in Quebec, he met the love of his life, Maureen. They moved numerous times across the country, making lifelong friendships along the way. Barry had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a hand. He enjoyed a good motorcycle ride and took many trips with great friends. He loved his life on their ranch in Cranbrook, tending the dogs, cattle and horses. When it became too much, he retired and they moved to Armstrong, eventually settling in Vernon.
Special thanks to the medical team at Vernon Jubilee hospital for the exceptional care in his final days.
Due to current restrictions, there will be no service at this time. A celebration of life will be planned for the spring.
