Robert Simonson, 90, of Ojai, CA, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017, at the Continuing Care Center of Ojai Community Hospital. Bob was born May, 14, 1927, in Montebello, CA, to the late Carl and Carolyn Simonson. He served in the United States Navy during WWII.
Bob was a welder by trade. He was a member of the Ojai Valley Moose Lodge, even being named Moose of the year in 1994.
Bob is survived by his brothers, Jim, Cliff, and Carl; sisters, Carole, and CeeCee; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Elsie; brothers, Ted and Les; and sisters, Carla, and Christine.
There will be no services held for Bob, he has respectfully been laid to rest at the Piru Cemetery, in Piru, CA.
