James Richard Neville, a lifelong resident of Ventura, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 15, 2013 following a brief illness. He was born on February 24, 1926 to Isaac Campbell Neville and Mae Elizabeth (Davison) Neville.
James worked for Southern California Edison as a Financial Analyst for over 30 years, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of the Rotary Club of Ventura, Ventura Dance Club, and Toastmasters International. James enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Nancy; daughter, Melinda Neville Dye; daughter and son-in-law Jan Neville Taylor and Steve Taylor; granddaughters, Marissa Taylor, Lindsay Taylor, and Heather Taylor Fon; niece, Katie Neville Sines and her husband Dennis of Bozeman, MT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
