Scott Laudenslager, 62, of Nokomis, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 22, 1962, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Scott grew up in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, where he developed the strong work ethic and down-to-earth nature that would define his life.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Scott was known for his hard-working spirit and his ability to tackle any task with skill and dedication. A true jack of all trades, Scott took pride in his work and in the life he built with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen Laudenslager, his cherished daughters, Justine and Jozlyn Laudenslager, and his adored grandchildren, Gunner and Liana. Scott's love for his family was evident in everything he did; he was always there to lend a helping hand, offer support, or share a quiet moment of joy. Scott was also deeply fond of his cat, Carter, who brought him great comfort and companionship.
Scott is also survived by his brother, Gary, and many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his generous spirit and laid-back demeanor. His easygoing nature allowed him to connect with others effortlessly, making him a pleasure to be around.
A passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Scott could often be found cheering on his favorite team with a Budweiser in hand, sharing the ups and downs of the game with those he loved.
Scott's legacy of love, hard work, and loyalty will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His family takes comfort in knowing that he will always be with them in spirit, watching over them as he always did.
A private service will be held to honor Scott's life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the GoFundme to help cover hospital bills.
