He is preceded in death by his special daughter, Megan Renee. Jim was born in Athens, Ohio on April 29, 1947. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce Ann (Allbaugh), daughters, Michele (Roger) Aldridge, Melissa (Brad) Baker, Melinda Keffer, grandsons Connor Aldridge, Cameron Aldridge, a sister Chery Dee (Sheldon) Lowry, nieces Lynette Lowry, Shelly (Bill) Sams, many special friends, and golfing buddies.
He was a long time member of the Elks, V.F.W, American Legion, Amvets, and the Moose Lodge. He was also a member of the Plumbers’ and Pipefitters Local Union 577. He enjoyed golfing, cheering on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds, and sitting on his patio listening to music.

A celebration of life for his family and friends will be held on April 27, 2024 at the Nelsonville, Ohio Elks Lodge #543 at 4:00 P.M.
