Yoshiko Iwamoto, affectionately known to family as “Yoyo”, age 95 of Vancouver BC, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024.
Predeceased by husband Mitsuru (Jack) Iwamoto and son Kenji Iwamoto, and survived by son Robin Iwamoto (Kirtana) and grandson Yoshi of Chicago, IL, and daughters Patricia and Debra Iwamoto. Predeceased by parents Sutekichi and Ito Miyagawa, sister Kazuko and brother-in-law Raeso Okada, sister Mitsuko and brother-in-law Isamu Mukai, and brother Michio Miyagawa. Survived by sister Toshiko Miyagawa, sister-in-law Haruye Miyagawa, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family service on December 2, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Vancouver Buddhist Temple, 220 Jackson Avenue, Vancouver, BC. Lunch and refreshments to follow. Koden is respectfully declined.
