James Josef Weber ‘Kanunu’ Sunrise: March 13, 1965 – Sunset: August 27, 2022 It is with great sadness we advise of the passing of James Josef Weber. He was born to his parents Paul Sr. and Hildegard Weber on March 13, 1965, at St. Paul’s Hospital, Vancouver, BC. James grew up in Burnaby. He attended Burnaby Secondary School, Moscrop Secondary School, BCIT, and Spanish classes at the north shore neighbourhood house. He had the travel bug early on and went to Europe by himself after highschool. James met the love of his life Denise when he was 36, they have travelled all over central and south America together, giving him the chance to use the Spanish he learnt. He enjoyed sports like soccer and lacrosse. He started working with the district of North Vancouver in 1988, 36 years ago. James was the kind of man who was the first person to help on any occasion. He lived life to the fullest. James will best be remembered for his great hair, big smile, being a great friend, and having a heart of gold.
James is survived by his loving wife Denise Marie Jensen; parents Hildergard & Paul Sr Weber; siblings Paul Weber Jr., John Weber, Danny Jensen, Arnold ‘Arnie’ Jensen; special brothers Ivan Jensen, Ritchie Baker, Dave Neilson; special sisters Dawn Sherwood, Jill Peters, Shannon Henderson, Karen Shipman, Dixie Smeeton; uncles Hans Senger, Werner Senger(Maria), Joe Weber(Siqret ’Ziggy’), John Weber (Hildergard); godson Edward Nahanee Jr and many loving relatives and dear friends.
