Henry Jung

Henry Jung, 70, of Vancouver, British Columbia passed away peacefully on February 21, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Henry is survived by his wife, Evelyn; daughters, Jennifer and Janet (Byron); sons, Robert and Frederick; and grandchildren, Anabelle and Charlotte.

Henry was born and raised in Vancouver. Upon graduating with a business degree from the University of British Columbia, he went on to become a successful accountant, businessman, and entrepreneur. Henry was a visionary leader and pioneer in the renewable energy industry in Ontario and the United States. He was a loyal friend and mentor to many and is fondly remembered for his relentless work ethic, charisma, and strategic thinking. In addition to Henry being highly regarded for his diverse business expertise and insight, he was also well-known for his extraordinary ability to build long-lasting relationships and connect with people. In his never-ending pursuit of the next business venture and in his life, Henry always looked forward to the next challenge and met them with his undeniable determination, spirit, and passion. He was tremendously admired and respected by everyone who knew him.

Henry was married to Evelyn (nee Kan). Together they raised a wonderful family. Henry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Many happy memories were made on family travels. He always looked forward to joyous celebrations with family and friends. He was also known to enjoy quieter moments while at home in the company of his loving and loyal family dogs, Cocoa and Tammy.

Henry will always be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and business associates for his positive outlook, humour, kindness, and generosity. He is loved and will be incredibly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
