Stephanie Carlene Boren, 71, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, May 31, 2024 in Fort Smith. She was born September 21, 1952 in Van Buren to the late Henry Carl and Patsy Lee (Collins) Hayes. She had worked for Planters, Mercy Hospital, and was the owner/operator of “This N That”.
She is survived by her husband, Morris “Chick” Boren of the home; a daughter, Tiffanie Koehler and husband Ed of Covington, TN; a son, Brian Fry and wife Tonia of Van Buren; two sisters, Marilyn Boone of Van Buren, and Vicki Kuehn of Germantown, TN; three grandchildren, Donovan Dotson, Dallas Dotson, and Maddox Fry; three great-grandchildren, Blakeley Dotson, Kaiden Dotson, and Nova Dotson; and nieces and nephews, Cory Boone, Stephanie Boone, Natalie Kuehn, Sarah Kuehn, Richard Kuehn, and Jasper Boone.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at Gill Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
