Linda Gail Moody

Linda Moody, 76, of Mulberry, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 in Fort Smith. She was born May 20, 1944 in Mulberry to Willis and Mary Pritchard. She retired after 39 years as church secretary at First Baptist Church Mulberry. She loved her family deeply.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David W. Moody.

She is survived by a daughter, Robbin McClurkin of Mulberry; a son, John David Moody and wife Peggy Sue of Mulberry; four grandchildren, Kendra McClure of Lamar, Jenna Pulliam of Alma, Kendall McClurkin II of Mulberry, and Spencer Moody of Mulberry; a great-granddaughter who was the light of her life, Abbie Claire Pulliam of Alma; and also by many lifelong friends that she considered family.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church Mulberry with interment to follow at New Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be John Moody, Spencer Moody, Jarek Pulliam, John Hunter, Jamie Carty, and Jeff Marvin. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Moon, William Toby, Jimmy Sullivent II, Brandon Pomeroy, D.J. Bull, Rindy Edwards, and Linda Medlock.
