Janet Faye Robertson

Janet Faye Robertson, 87, of Rudy, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024 in Fort Smith. She was born February 19, 1937 in Fayetteville, to the late George and Beatrice (Hall) Crook. She was a registered nurse for Sparks Regional Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Gene Weldon Robertson; two sisters, Joann Woody and Lana Bartlett; and a son-in-law, Key Williams.

She is survived by a daughter, Becky Williams of Alma; two sons, Warren Robertson (Christie) of Alma, and Brent Robertson (Jennifer) of Rudy; eight grandchildren, Jessica Williams Files, Amber Williams Kraus, Kaylie Robertson Fry, Brittany Simmons, Destin Emerson, Isaac Emerson, Caleb Robertson, and Chase Davis; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Paul Kraus, Ruth Kraus, Logan Fry, Jackson Fry, Max Fry, Lily Simmons, Alek Simmons, Abel Emerson, Amelia Emerson, Grace Brantley, Ryleigh Davis, Addi Davis, and Key Files.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
