JackiJackie Lee Suggs, 85, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born September 25, 1937 in Van Buren to the late T.O. and Katherine (Smith) Suggs. He served in the U.S. Air Force; was the owner/operator of Lazy J Western Wear in Van Buren; and was a member of Concord Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Suggs; and a brother, Billy Joe Suggs
He is survived by a daughter, Terri Suggs of Van Buren; a son, James Suggs and wife Lori of Van Buren; a sister, Glenda Rayner of Van Buren; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Rayner, Colby Shepherd, Zach Fitzgerald, Bill Laster, Mike Hill, and Scott Rice.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
