Gloria “Jeanne” Woods, 90, of Van Buren, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Fort Smith. She was born December 15, 1927 in El Reno, OK to the late Ray and Edith Alexander. She was a homemaker and was a member of City Heights United Methodist Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Woods; sister, Ferol Hopkins; and three brothers, Billy, Ray and Thomas Alexander.
She is survived by her brother, Johnny Alexander of Ballwin, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
