Emma Jean Rogers

Emma Jean Rogers, 88, of Mountainburg, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in Van Buren. She was born December 17, 1935 in Fern to the late Wallace and Iva (Reeves) Turner. She was a homemaker and had work at Bassham’s Grocery in Mountainburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Rogers; and a son, Dwain Rogers.

She is survived by a son, David Kelly Rogers of Mountainburg; four grandchildren, Natasha, Ian, Connor, and Chloe; and four great-grandchildren, Colette, Madden, Amree, and Kendrick.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Conley Cemetery in Mountainburg, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Rogers, Connor Rogers, Madden Rogers, Ian Rogers, James Hamilton, and Kole Horne.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
