Benny Ray Baldwin, 76, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born January 2, 1947 in Mulberry. He had served in the U.S. Army, and was retired from Southern Telephone in Ozark after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruby (Teague) Moody; a daughter; a sister, Joyce Calma; and a brother, Bill Moody.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Baldwin of the home; two daughters; three sons; a brother, Jim Moody of Mountainburg; and eleven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home with cremation to follow, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Viewing will be from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
