Theresa Diane James Davis

Theresa Diane Davis, age 45, of Live Oak, Texas, passed away on February 1, 2011. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home located at 625 Kitty Hawk Road in Universal City, Texas 78148. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at 12:30 pm at Livingway Church located at 13285 IH35 North in San Antonio, Texas 78233. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 pm located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road in San Antonio, Texas 78209.

Theresa Davis was born December 1, 1965, in Tripoli, Libya in North Africa to William Andrew and Lucille James, Jr. She proudly served in the United States Army during Desert Storm. She was most recently employed by Texas MedClinic as the Executive Assistant to the Owner, and she will always be remembered for her kind and generous nature, her dedication to her family and to her church. Theresa and her husband, James, were the Directors of the Chosen Vessels Single Ministry, and she had also served as the Director of the Physical Abuse Overcomers Ministry. She was a strong witness in her faith in Jesus Christ, and she never wavered in her faith to the very end.

Survivors include her husband, James M. Davis; her children, Michael Henry Cravens, Jr., Chondrai Licole James, and Vanessa Elizabeth Tomlin; her mother, Lucille James; her sisters, Janice Renee Thomas and Carnette James Reed; her brothers, William James, III and wife Marie, and Desmond James; and many nieces and nephews and other loving family members.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Livingway Church designated to the Wholeness & Healing Ministry.
