Stephen was born August 19, 1929 in Erie, Pennsylvania. He was the ninth of twelve children.
When Stephen was eighteen he joined the USAF. Stephen retired in 1979 after a distinguished career of thirty one years.
Stephen was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Anna Rovnak, and nine of his twelve siblings. Michael Rovnak, Anna Kitza, Mary Drabic, Helen Schafer, Catherine Richwalski, Agnes Chludinski and Vincent Rovnak.
Stephen is survived by Sister Rose Ann Rovnak , Michael Rovnak, and Sister Margaret Rovnak. His son Stephen James Rovnak and Granddaughter Elizabeth Jane Rovnak, as well as many family and friends.
A Rosary will be recited, Tuesday, January 19, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. and Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 16075 North Evans Road, Selma, Texas 78154
